eufy X8 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner

This robot vacume performs all that is advertised. I have had other more expensive brand name robots that did not perform as well. Pet hair always was an issue, not with this one. The guidance system is also exceptional. I did have a problem with the battery and the customer support (withih the app) was fantastic. A replacement was delivered to me free of charge within 4 days. I highly recommend this item!

I haven’t owned any other robot vacuums, but this one has been great and helps a ton on those day to day chores. Every once in a while it will randomly revacuum a room, it will start in the middle of the night, or the map will get off, but I feel like those are very minor issues and they seldom happen.

We used to have a Eufy, basic model years ago. As soon as we got a dog that sheds it would choke on the fur and conk out.
Welp, figured I'd look into it again and read some reviews about new models and how they performed with pet hair. This was listed as a top contender. Set it up, let it charge, and gave it a spin. Not great. When it went to the docking station it choked on the fur and I had to manually remove it from the base. Granted it was cleaning up a fair amount of fur. I felt defeated and thought about returning it. Started looking through all the settings and came across "pet mode" for the empty cycle. This was a game changer. Every 15 minutes it now returns to the base to dump the bin. It has been performing awesome since turning this feature on. If your goal is to pick up fur you want this turned on.
Very happy with my purchase now and once again a happy Eufy customer.

Love it! We have a shedding dog and it picks up the hair really well! Could be a little quieter, so far thats the only downside. Easy to set up and never gets stuck!

This unit is great!!!!
Had 3 Roomba before that would bump everything in the house to navigate from room to room. This guy tell which room to clean it goes to that room without bumping the first time. The machine can be watched (not video)on your smart phone on a digital layout that the vacuum makes when it’s first used.

I have a lot of cats and I have tried a lot of robot vacuums, and I have to tell you that none of them could handle the amount of pet hair and cat litter that they encountered. Trust me when I say that this takes things next level!! I literally am in love with this vacuum and my cats actually really like it too. It’s not too loud, it is very thorough, it empties itself into a bag which you change every so often and it never gets clogged up or tangled with cat fur, like other vacuums did. Just absolutely superior

I've only had this for three days and my floors have never been this clean. I have two dogs, three cats and a messy teenager; two of the five animals are massive shedders. There's hair everywhere until three days ago. This is an upgrade from my eufy g30 as I was getting battery errors and was having to restart daily for it to function but it was not winning the battle against pet hair. The suction power on this thing is AMAZING! The mapping is scary accurate and divides your home into sections so if you have an area that's frequently used, you can schedule an extra cleaning for just that area. The noise does seem louder as the suction is so powerful so best to schedule when either at work or not asleep. My favorite feature by far is the automatic emptying of the dust tray. A word of caution, just plan to empty it yourself after the first cleaning. My tray was sooo full of pet hair, dust, and cat litter that it was giving blockage errors and not emptying. I haven't had that issue since and schedule two cleanings a day to help with managing the pet hair. It does still get stuck on teen's shoe laces and phone chargers, much to my frustration with Eufy and my teen. I was hoping this price point helped with that. Register your vacuum in the eufy clean app and they'll send you two vacuum bags for free. Totally recommend and single mom proof! No man needed to set up.

I have cats and long hair and sometimes I wonder who sheds more, me or the cats .
I am used to taking my old robo vac apart after each cleaning because my long hair is always wrapped around the brush , not to mention the constant emptying of the dust bin at least twice per run .
My house is not ideal with a very wired floor plan and a lot of items to navigate around.
I also am used to have to pick up everything and I could never leave the prior robot run when I was out of the house because it got lost or stuck on cables or sucked up a toy , usually in a spot like under the biggest bed in the house , out of power finding and retrieving it was a challenge.
All this has changed completely since this eufy took over.
Setting up the app was very easy even for a non tech savvy person .
There was a system upgrade available right away and another just released a few days ago.
After reading and watching a few videos I was pretty confident I understood the basics and started the first run.
It was interesting to watch how the lidar mapped out the walls . I didn’t move everything I could out of the way the first time , however it still did an okay job .
But I did walk behind the eufy , just because I was so used to always keep an eye on the old robot in case it gets lost or trapped .
It didn’t take long for me to notice the unreal suction power of this eufy model . It knows to adjust the suction power depending on the surface and the amount of dust , hair and debris . Once it has some of my long hair trapped in the brush it will automatically clean the brush and I couldn’t believe how efficiently eufy did that .
I picked eufy up to peak under during the first run , the brush had no hair left on it. Unfortunately I messed up the position mapping by picking it up .
No problem, the next time i ran it it just did a quick remap run . This model talks to you letting you know what it is doing at all times.
How cool is that ?
I did move a few items out of the way once I saw the maps getting better and better with each use.
Just use it and let it map out your place in peace and do move items that block access to some areas the first time it maps out your home .
And don’t get frustrated, once eufy got the lay of the land down pad it does fantastic. No need to touch it . I just have to pick it up and place it on the top floor , it will return to the same spot when it is done , alert that it is done and all I have to do is bring it back down .. it will go immediately to the charging station . You can set it to empty itself after every docking or after a few dockings , it will auto empty once it gets too full and return to work . Amazing to watch all that tech .
I never thought I could leave any robo vac run and not worry about it due to the houses difficult floor plan, carpet runners and rugs, sunken den and all the knick knacks and plants on the floors , tight hallways etc.
I can now, I can set everything in the app from which room not to clean, the sequence in how I want eufy to clean the rooms , too many cool features . No more magnetic strips needed, simply set no go zones such as your area rug if you are wet mopping etc..
I am most impressed with the suction power of this model. It is WOW . My rugs get a deep clean every day which by itself already cut the amount of dust and hair.
It is quiet when it operates, my cats are used to it , it only gets a little loud when it goes to empty itself which is so convenient . When it empties itself , it even compresses the dust in the dustbag.
I got an email from eufy after about 3 weeks offering me two free replacement dust bags with free shipping which arrived a few days ago.
That is another reason why I think investing in a brand name product such as eufy is the way to go. Everything is available, no need to ever search for part numbers , hope that it fits etc.
I haven’t used the wet mop function yet, I use a different machine for that .
There are just two things I wish they improved.
1. The Lidar mapper on top of the unit sticks up a little higher which keeps it from getting under a few pieces of very low to the ground furniture my older and thinner robo vac was able to get under .
2. I do miss a remote control , the app doesn’t have a remote control function .
Even though I can start cleaning with the push of one button on the eufy , for some reason I miss the ability to go over spots I see that need a little extra care . I can set all that in the app and this eufy doesn’t miss much ,
I am perhaps still too used to run behind the old vac with the remote to steer it away from danger or towards missed spots.
Takeaway :
Suction Power is simply amazing
Brush cleaning and detangling feature blows my mind .
Ability to maneuver around a very difficult floor plan with a lot of stuff in the way : Good and getting better with each run and each update .
App: Very good and also improving.
A lot of customization options down to the robots voice, sex ,language, accent.
Maps : Supports multiple maps. You can merge , layer, set no go zones , cleaning sequences and schedules.
Runs grids whenever it can and does a great job getting under chairs, tables and beds without dragging cables or getting itself stuck.
And I am still discovering new features.
My floors are spotless .
There is no comparison between my old robot vac mop and this turbo charged robot.
I am looking forward to see what else eufy will implement in the future…

Worth every penny I have and will recommend this brands model to everyone with pets , people with longer hair , people with difficult floor plans , anyone really who wants / needs the suction power of an upright vac . Also , I love that this model uses bags , no having to ever come in contact with that mess. Not having to wash out and dry the collection bin .
The filters have a slide close function, my hands never touch , the air stays clean and my eufy stays clean , oh and the brush needs very minimal attention. Win / win / win

Yes it works amazing it maps out your home and clean about 95% there's a few places he couldn't reach like under sofas and cabinet but it works great has great suction power and it does all the work for you 😀
