PHILIPS L’OR Barista Capsule Coffee Machine

This Lor barista has saved me soooo much money. I’ve had it for nearly a year and it the absolute best. My husband and I are add it and now my kids are hooked as well. lol. Makes great tasting coffee, it can be used with any capsules, and it’s easy to clean we even make iced coffee scaring us from having to go out and buy any. Add your favorite creamers and you’re good to go. It’s skin and feels very sturdy, unlike others we’ve purchase. The coffee comes out hot but you can drink it right off the machine, water tans hold a few cup to last a few days. Instant espressos at touch of a button. Has three different sizes and start up is quick.

Even after 1.5 years, the L'or system works great. Great full flavors of both espresso capsules and coffee capsules. Vanilla is my favorite. And they just released their pumpkin spice flavor. Yummy too. No issues with functionality nor water dispensing. I use the recommended descaler from Philips.

At home, this machine is 100% perfect no problems …but far as traveling with it in a camper it sucks every piece of it falls apart and it’s not easy to move around without something falling off of it, good for home use but not for a camper and trying to move it around

Like everyone else I probably ran through every review and every video there was on the Internet about this product. To say, I am absolutely impressed by this little machine. It pulls such an amazing shot that rivals the big coffee machines out there now. I did trade in my old hand, tamp espresso machine for This Guy and I will say it equally does a great job. also, the fact that it takes other Nespresso pods is amazing too.

I used a Nespresso Essenza for 7 years and 5,000 cups of coffee. Yes I kept count. When it died, I replaced it with a Nespresso Mini. It died after 1 week and 6 cups. So I returned it and ordered the L'Or Barrista. It died after 4 days and 3 cups. So I called L'Or customer service to report the problem. I had a new machine in 2 days.
I have used the machine for a couple weeks. It is considerably larger than the 2 Nespresso machines. But it produces both espresso and conventional coffee. And the water tank and used capsule containers are large enough that they don't need daily attention.
The quality of the coffee, using both L'Or and Peet's capsules is excellant. The coffee is hot and the taste smooth.
One downside is the used capsules contain a lot of liquid. The more capsule, the more liquid. The more liquid, the sloppier the emptying process. Be carefull or you will have a mess.
The machine is excellent but I was really impressed with the customer service. No hassle. No drama. Just service.

I enjoy coffee, specially good coffee, but I’m not usually one to spend much time making it. L’or Barista System is amazing, easy and make great espresso and coffee. I liked it so much I turned around and bought another one just to send it to my sister.
Please get the recycling envelope from L’or’s Website and send back used capsules.
